What is technology?
      
      Technology is more than a hardware.
         Technology is the applied side of scientific 
           development. 


It is the collection of tools, including machinery, modifications, arrangements and procedures used by humans. Technologies significantly affect human as well as other animal species' ability to control and adapt to their natural environments. The term can either be applied generally or to specific areas: examples include construction technology, medical technology and information technology. - Wikipedia


Educational Technology

What is Educational Technology?

It is a field study which is concerned with the practice of using educational methods and resources for the ultimate goal of facilitating the learning process. (Lucido & Borabo, 1997)
             It is a complex, integrated process involving people, procedures, ideas, devices, and organization for analyzing problems and devising, implementing, evaluating, and managing solutions to those problems involved in all aspects of human learning. (Corpuz & Lucido, 2008)

Technology in Education
  • The application of technology to any of those processes involved in operating the institutions which house the educational enterprise. (Jonassen, 1999)

Instructional Technology
  • The tools used in teaching and learning.
  • It refers to those aspects of educational technology that are concerned with instruction. It is a systematic way of designing, carrying out, and evaluating the total process of learning and teaching in terms of specific objectives. (Lucido & Borabo, 1997)
Technology Integration
  • It means using learning technologies to introduce, reinforce, supplement, and extend skills (Williams, 2000)
Educational Media
  • The channels or instruments of communications which serves educational purposes (Lucido & Paz, 2008)
